Europe is one of the continents that make up the Eurasian supercontinent, located between parallels 35º 30’ and 70º 30’ north latitude. In a conventional way and for cultural-historical reasons, it is considered a continent, following the delimitation made by the Russian geographer Vasily Tatishchev, who wanted to point out Russia's membership of Europe and Asia.
